Lee Anne has recently taken on the role of Programme Administrator for the FAME programme. She works at Massey University in the Institute of Food Nutrition and Human Health.

Nicola Shadbolt, BSc (Hons), MAgrSc (Hons)
Nicola, chair of the PDG, is a Professor in Farm Business Management at Massey University and Co-Director of the Centre of Excellence in Farm Business Management. She is a registered Farm Management Consultant and a Fellow of the NZ Institute of Primary Industry Management. Before joining Massey, she worked for 15 years in a variety of management and executive roles in government, agribusiness and consultancy. Outside academia, she has held various directorships, currently is on the Board of Fonterra Cooperative, and is actively involved in five equity partnerships producing milk, beef, sheep meat, wool, venison, velvet and timber. Her primary research interests are in the area of farm and agribusiness strategic management, business and risk analysis and primary industry investment. She is also a facilitator of the Icehouse Agribusiness executive education programme.
Lincoln University
Keith Woodford PhD
Keith is Professor of Farm Management and Agribusiness at Lincoln University. Keith has a background in farming systems, agribusiness and international rural development. He has worked on rural development and education projects in Cambodia, Papua New Guinea, Vietnam and Sri Lanka. He has also undertaken consultancies in many other Asian countries including China, Laos, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, the Philippines, Malaysia and East Timor. He lived in Fiji for one year and in Australia for 18 years before returning to New Zealand in 2000. Keith has supervised masters and PhD theses on agricultural and agribusiness issues in Indonesia, Ethiopia, PNG, Vietnam, and Uruguay as well as New Zealand and Australia. Keith‟s research interests are diverse, but in general relate to the broad question as to how agribusiness firms (including farms) and industries can achieve and sustain a competitive advantage.

Ken Deans PhD
Originally a scientist, Ken moved to the dark side of the force in the late 70s and is now an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Marketing within the internationally ranked School of Business at the University of Otago, Dunedin, New Zealand. He lectures undergraduate, postgraduate, MBA and executives in principles of marketing, marketing strategy, Internet marketing and services marketing. His research, in collaboration with overseas researchers has lead to over 70 publications in journals, books and refereed conference proceedings as well as a numerous seminars to businesses and organisations. Over the years Ken has worked for and with a number of SMEs as well as blue-chip companies such as Scottish & Newcastle and Pilkington.
