FAME3 international modules completed
The third FAME programme completed in 2010. Module One was held at Clearwater in Christchurch from April 27th - 30th , 2009. There are 28 participants spanning a wide number of industries and points within their respective supply chains. Module One included introductory sessions on the global food market and innovation, retailers, international legislation, market strategy, supply chains and the countries they then visited. Module Two, in June,2009, visited China, Denmark and The Netherlands and Module Three, in October, 2009, visited USA, Italy and Japan. There were many useful contrasts to observe between these countries and the participants made good use of their time to fully experience the agribusiness and the food. The international modules provided a strong focus on and experience of the customers and cultures. Module four (in March, 2010) provided time for reflection and feedback to enable the learning experience to be completed as planned.
